Important notice - Advance notice of service migration in April 201624 Mar 2016

During April 2016 uktradeinfo will be undergoing planned service migration activity to ensure future site stability. This will delay the update of the interactive ‘Build Your Own Data Tables’ tools for a short period, but National Statistics publications and full dataset downloads will still be available.

On Friday 8 April we will be publishing the Overseas Trade Statistics for February 2016, along with the Importers Details product for the same period. This will also be the first occasion that non-EU exporter information will be published as the new Exporter Details product, as announced on 18 February.

‘Build Your Own Data Tables’ tools (including Importers and Exporters Details) will not be updated with February 2016 data and past month amendments until Monday 11 April. Customers requiring access to February’s detailed trade data or Importers/Exporters Details before then, will be able to download the full month dataset as text files in the Data Downloads area of uktradeinfo.

In addition, we would recommend that customers who use the ‘Save To My Reports’ functionality, do not save new or amend existing data tables from 1 April to 4 May while the planned migration activity takes place. There is a small risk that changes may be lost, although we do not expect this to happen. As an alternative, customers are advised to use the ‘Save Table View’ option which will generate a URL that can be stored as a bookmark or direct link. Guidance on ‘saving a report’ is available in the ‘Build Your Own Tables’ Help area.
