This website is managed by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). UK Trade Info publishes detailed UK trade statistics data collected by HMRC.
What we do
Our main responsibilities are to:
- collect, analyse and publish UK trade in goods statistics, in accordance with the UK National Statistics of Code of Practice for Official Statistics
- make sure the UK complies with legislation regarding the quality and timeliness of trade statistics
About the trade statistics
We make available detailed trade data for more than 9,000 commodities and around 200 partner countries.
The data we publish are used by a wide range of national and international customers from the government, financial, business, and academic sectors, as well as members of the public.
Data is also provided to the Office of National Statistics (ONS) as a part of the UK Balance of Payments. We also represent the UK within the United Nations and Office for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) forums addressing trade statistics issues.
