Page withdrawal notice

This page has been withdrawn on 11 September 2026.

Following consultation, we have stopped publishing the pre-prepared agriculture, alcohol, energy and transport sector datasets.

The same data remains available through Build Your Own Tables (BYOT) and the API.

Overview

We have created these custom trade data files to customers' specifications.

From May 2016, we changed the method we use to compile trade in goods statistics, from the 'general trade' to the 'special trade' system.

This change was due to legislation affecting how goods are declared to Customs.
