This annual release links 2019 Overseas Trade Statistics (OTS) data on trade in goods with business characteristics sourced from the Inter-Departmental Business Register (IDBR).
UK trade in goods by business characteristics
HM Revenue and Customs has today published the UK trade in goods by business characteristics 2019 release.
These are experimental statistics containing some expanded analyses showing overseas trade by particular business characteristics, which provide information about the businesses that are trading those goods. These analyses focus on trade by industry group, age of business and size of business (number of employees).
The release includes a report and supporting data tables.
