In November 2023:
total goods exports were £37.1bn:

- down by £4.2bn (10%) compared with October 2023
- down by £5.1bn (12%) compared with November 2022
total goods imports were £56.2bn:

- down by £0.1bn (0.2%) compared with October 2023
- down by £2.7bn (4.6%) compared with November 2022
the UK was a net importer, with imports exceeding exports by £19.1bn, widening by £4.1bn on October 2023
EU and non-EU trade in goods

In November 2023:
EU exports were £16.5bn:

- up by £0.6bn (3.7%) compared with October 2023
- down by £1.1bn (6.0%) compared with November 2022
EU imports were £29.2bn:

- up by less than £0.1bn (0.1%) compared with October 2023
- up by £0.8bn (2.7%) compared with November 2022
for EU trade, the UK was a net importer, with imports exceeding exports by £12.7bn
Non-EU trade in goods
In November 2023:
Non-EU exports were £20.6bn:

- down by £4.8bn (19%) compared with October 2023
- down by £4.0bn (16%) compared with November 2022
Non-EU imports were £27.0bn:
