Correlation Tables at 10-digit TARIC level; Excel version of the Combined Nomenclature (CN) 201313 Dec 2012

The European Commission has recently published Correlation tables for the 10-digit TARIC codes CIRCABC - hs-cn-taric.

These are the codes applied to Import trade when 8-digit Commodity Codes require a further detailed split for Tariff purposes.

On 20 September we published a news item alerting providers of statistical information – using the Intrastat System for EU trade, and usually via CHIEF for non-EU – of those Commodity codes that would be changing for 2013. With the new year nearly upon us, codes no longer valid in 2012 will not be acceptable for all trade.

Finally uktradeinfo will be providing an Excel version of the Combined Nomenclature in the near future. It is hoped that this version provides a user-friendly alternative to the official PDF format, enabling users to navigate and download areas of interest etc.

This version will replace the current 2012 version on the Goods Classification System page.
