International Trade in Goods visualisation tool10 Sep 2015

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) and Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) have collaborated to create an “International Trade in Goods visualisation” tool, sourced from statistics published by the United Nations (UN).

The UN adopts the trade statistics produced by HMRC (and those reported by statistical authorities in close to 200 other countries or areas), and publishes them, showing values in US Dollars, on the United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics Database (‘Comtrade’). These allow for international comparisons of trade performance to be made.
